For a new band Hey Charlie already have a well established post-grunge sound, with the aptly named Hey combining vocals reminiscent of Debbie Harry with chugging guitar riffs that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Nirvana album. Think 90s girl gang meets garage rock, combining to result in an unpredictable, cyclonic live force picked up by the likes of Kerrang!
