APRIL TOWERS Unveil Video for ‘Takes One To Know One’

The Nottingham duo’s debut album, Certified Freaky, to be released next year.

April Towers have released the first single, Takes One To Know One, from their debut album Certified Freaky, out early next year.

The duo, made up of Alex Noble and Charlie Burley, aren’t newbies on the music scene and feel well ready for their debut release. However, the anticipation for the record isn’t lost:

Having an extended body of work is something we have always aspired to, so the fact that it’s nearly a reality is incredibly exciting to us.

The visuals that premiered alongside the single are an affectionate mockery of a stereotypical “cool band” music video. With shots explaining a video tutorial, director Sean E. Robinson pokes fun at the random cool locations and seemingly artistic shots that most indie bands easily fall prey to. The single itself is catchy and reminiscent of 80s-style dance music. Accompanied by guitar beat that is sure to make heads nod, Takes One To Know One is a promising introduction to the future release.
