KASABIAN Reveal Video for ‘III Ray (The King)’ Featuring Game Of Thrones’ Lena Headey
The band has announced 12 date arena tour in November / December.
Leicester-bred Kasabian have unveiled a comically hectic video for their new single Ill Ray (The King) off of their sixth studio album, For Crying Out Loud, released earlier this year.
The video comes after amazing sets at Reading & Leeds, and with December tour just announced, the band doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
Written and conceived by the band’s own Serge Pizzorno, the video depicts Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey resurrecting King Richard III, whose body was buried in Leicester. The following scenes are frenzied and hilarious, with Headey taking advantage of her “king for a day” by getting him drunk and eating copious amounts of food.
Kasabian never shy away from strange video concepts, their video for You’re In Love With A Psycho immediately comes to mind. This new clip follows this pattern and is an excellent fit for the punchy tune.
Kasabian have also announced an extensive 12 date UK & Erie arena tour commencing in November.
