After announcing their headliners and an impressive line-up of acts recently, Download Festival has now announced their second wave of acts, including Slayer, The Smashing Pumpkins and Lamb Of God.  

With headliners Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool, Download Festival 2019 is already set to become a legendary edition. This status only seems to be more solidified with the newest release of names.

First and foremost, Slayer will be making their last UK appearance ever at Download 2019. This alone will be enough to touch a metalhead’s heart, but with the addition of Dream Theater, Lamb Of God, Eagles Of Death Metal, Anthrax and Alien Weaponry, the metal list is taking real shape.

The latest announcement also has something in story for fans of different genres. The Smashing Pumpkins are representing alt-rock, whereas ska punk is represented by The Interrupters and Zebrahead, pop-punk by State Champs and Yours Truly and post-hardcore by Our Last Night and I Prevail. Enough to enjoy, which means we’re looking forward to June!

Download Festival will take place on 14-16 June 2019 in Donnington Park.
