Live: THE JAPANESE HOUSE // Electric Ballroom, London

Amber Bain heads out on a UK headline tour in support of her debut album, Good At Falling.

Talk to anyone about The Japanese House, and they all sing wonder about Amber Bain’s progression and growth past the mystery that once shrouded her, and for good reason. This all added further anticipation to her already long-awaited debut album, Good At Falling, which was almost four years in the making.

Bain took to a sold-out Electric Ballroom to close her UK headline tour, filling the room with blunt yet sincere lyrics disguised in a cloak of dreamy indie synth pop. The set balanced a mix of older songs such as Still and Cool Blue with many from the new album, including singles We Talk All The Time and Maybe You’re The Reason.

It’s hard to imagine a follow up, but we’re positive that The Japanese House will be a name on many lips for some time to come.
