SXSW 2020 Second Round of Showcasing Artists Announced

SXSW has announced the second round of showcasing artists for their 2020 festival.

The annual event, held in Austin, TX, runs from March 16-22, 2020. If this second announcement is any indication, this year’s festival is sure to exceed expectations and provide an excellent range of worldwide talent.

The global nature of this festival attracts the best music, from up-and-coming acts to world-renowned performers. Featuring 210 new artists from 36 countries, this second announcement includes Nasty Cherry (Los Angeles, CA), whose Charli XCX-supported Netflix show documents their whirlwind origin, and post-punk legends Wire (Brighton, UK), who are sure to draw large crowds at a chance to see their live performance.

Some of our favorite finds from 2019’s festival will be returning, including two Chicago-based bands Slow Pulp and Dehd.
