After not releasing new music since 2018, BRIT Award-winning and multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter and musician George Ezra returns with the announcement of his hugely-anticipated third album Gold Rush Kid. Due for release on 10th June via Columbia Records, George will once again be soundtracking summer vacations and blissful road trips with his joyful, carefree tunes.

Ahead of his forthcoming third album, George has released the record’s first single Anyone For You, which sounds like the beloved artist bottled the essence of a high-spirited summer and poured it into a three minute song. The infectiously delightful track originated from the lyrical verse “Tiger Lily moved to the city, she’d just turned 21, and I said: here’s my number, hit me up, if you’re needing anyone, and then I can be anyone anyone anyone anyone anyone for you…”, which 23-year-old George had scrawled in a notebook, even before he’d begun working on his second bestseller album Staying At Tamara’s.

Pondering the album’s title, George says “The Gold Rush Kid? That’s me”, and explains that the twelve enrapturing, magnificent tracks on the record sound like him, which is what “ties them together.” If the sunny temperament of the album’s opener Anyone For You is anything to go by, George’s third album will be a glorious listening experience which, after years of melancholy and the singer’s absence, is undeniably needed.

Following Gold Rush Kid’s release in early June, George is set to play his largest headline show yet, with an exclusive all day event at London’s Finsbury Park on 17th July. Joining George at his first live performance in almost three years, due to the pandemic, will be Blossoms and Holly Humberstone, with even more incredible artists to be announced. Before all of that excitement even takes place, though, George will be debuting some of the album’s songs for the first time in a trio of intimate gigs in Manchester, Edinburgh and London.
