BLOSSOMS Are out and About in New ‘Honey Sweet’ Video

The Stockport outfit showcases their hometown in new video.

The latest single Honey Sweet is taken from the band’s 2016 self-titled No1 debut album.

As easy as it might be to sweep up some soppy love-story narrative for a glamorous pop-tune such as Honey Sweet, Blossoms instead went back to the roots, quite literally.

Following the band as they ride their bikes around their hometown, this video is not only a decent advert for Stockport and lovely British weather. The video is also sparked with pop-cultural references and mystic from movies such as Back To The Future and E.T., mixed in with strong vibes from Netflix success, Stranger Things.

Frontman Tom Ogden explains the video:

We like to dabble at filmmaking ourselves when we can, so we jumped at the chance to make our own video again. We turned Fitzpatrick Scaffolding to Pinewood Studios for a day, think ET meets Strangers Things shot in Stockport, written, shot, directed and edited ourselves.

Blossoms are currently nominated for ‘Best British Breakthrough Act’ at the forthcoming BRITs. They are also up for Best New Artist at the NME Awards.
