The band has announced details on their highly-anticipated debut album.

The New Jersey outfit has shared some exciting news about their forthcoming debut album, Fail You Again, to be released in March this year.

What’s more, as it turns out Can’t Swim have added a new member to their current lineup. A long time friend Andrea Morgan has joined the team taking over the drumming duties, due to some switching around instruments when recording Fail You Again.

Vocalist Chris LoPorto says of the album:

‘Fail You Again’ is our first record as a band. I think it’s a good interpretation of what we want to accomplish with our music. We recorded it all ourselves so the process felt very close to home. I’d like to think the extra work we put in really shows on the songs and people can tell how important this was to us. We looked at it as a template of sound for future releases, so we we’re sure to explore a wide array of tones and vibes throughout. It’s an honour to make music with these guys and I can’t wait for people to hear what we made.

Alongside the news about the album release Can’t Swim unveil new music video for the track We Won’t Sleep. It’s a sensitive take on past teenage years, a story about following your dreams while dealing with many obstacles along the way. Wrapped up in the crushing guitars the track sends a clear emotive message. Frontman explains:

The video for ‘We Won’t Sleep’ shows a scenario that a lot of kids go through growing up. Something I too have personally dealt with, playing music has never been a lucrative endeavour and I have been told countless times to consider a “different path” in life. In the climax of the video, the parents have an epiphany realising they should support their children, which is the message I hope people take from this video.
