Singer unveils enchanting music video for her latest track Awake Me.

Rosie Carney‘s Awake Me has me still in hectic central London this morning, as I’m captured in this new release.

This 19 year old comes in with a softness, and her delicate vocals pairing with just a simple electric guitar is heavenly. Not going to lie, as the first chorus came in, I got the shivers. It’s so effortless and atmospheric. The minimalism in the song let her vocals flourish and you become captivated with the lyrics.

Rosie Carney holds a strong sense of refinement throughout Awake Me, and this restraint in not saturating the song with unnecessary elements, reflects a maturity and strong sense of vision with her creative aesthetic. “I’ve been a fool for half of my life / I’ve tried to hide.” She has been quite open about her experiences with mental health and removing the stigma attached.

The video that accompanies the song explores such sadness and being released from it. Like the track, with its soft focus creates an enchanting cloud as it unfolds fluently.

With no tour dates as yet, as we are blessed with more music I’m sure Carney will have fans begging to see her perform.
