Following their previous single For The Thrill Of It, Close To Your Chest is another cutting edge taste taken from Counterfeit.‘s upcoming debut full-length, Together We Are Stronger.

Raw and intense, new tune punches with honesty as frontman Jamie Campbell Bower bursts into “I Hope You Read This And You Know I Despise You”. Well, clearly Close To Your Chest is not a love song but it serves as a tool to deal with past choices. There’s anger and there’s pain when the repetition of “What’s Done? / What’s Left?” hits, and it appears like this is just the start.

The punk-rock collective put the new lyric video together themselves and you can watch it below.

Together We Are Stronger is set to be released on March 17th via Xtra Mile Recordings.
