TEAR Share New Video for ‘Begging’
London quartet TEAR unveils new single Begging of their mini-album VINYL01.

Begging is the penultimate track from the seven-song offering.
With a punk attitude, a slight whine and cut throat edge all underlined by staggering guitar, Begging is asking for all and nothing. Conveying a freakishly dark nature with an almost sadomasochistic twist, it’s definitely something wicked TEAR are luring us into.
The mini-album is a collection of natural lo-fi rock tunes all fully charged and energetic, yet fiercely contained.
TEAR’s sharp edge of bizarre quirks also comes across in their video. The illusive offering accompanying Begging feels like it was made by a punk David Lynch. It is slightly creepy, a bit uncomfortable and still seductively picturesque.
VINYL01 is out now on Tim Burgess‘ label O Genesis Recordings with a track listing as follows:
- The Sprawl
- Never Fade Away
- Nothing You Can’t Have
- Careless Again
- Beautiful
- Begging
- Waiting Room
