Australian duo PLGRMS hypnotise with latest offering, Dream You Up.

Sydney based duo PLGRMS make music that perfectly reflects the persona of their home city. Dream You Up is a hypnotic track that flows beautifully between soaring vocals and industrial noises, a more complex venture than their previous tracks. The Glass Animals style electronic production takes you on a journey through the musical duo’s mind, and leaves you feeling pensively mellow.

Singer-songwriter Jacob Pearson and multi-instrumentalist songwriter/producer Jonathan Bowden have found the perfect combination of infectious, energising beats and more sinister vocals, giving the track a dark and brooding feel.

Pearson explains the inspiration behind the track:

When there’s mystery behind something or someone, it’s so interesting and intriguing. By nature we just can’t help ourselves and want to find out what it is. It’s the anticipation and the thrill of what we don’t understand. I’ve gone through it, but when you unveil the truth, the magic just disappears. So, it’s about stopping yourself from understanding it completely, so that thrill can hang around a bit longer.
