The four from The Charlatans are back with a new album, Different Days to be released on the 26th of May via BMG.

Tim Burgess, Martin Blunt, Mark Collins and Tony Rogers have put together their thirteenth album with the help of co-producer Jim Spencer. Tucked away in the band’s own studio in Cheshire, it features an assortment of helping hands from Paul Weller and Johnny Marr to crime writer Ian Rankin and writer/actress Sharon Horgan.

With  their lastest single, Plastic Machinery as a taster, we will have to wait until the end of the month till we can hear it all live over at Rough Trade East on the 30th of May.
