WATERPARKS // Slam Dunk Festival 2017

Houston-based pop-punk rockers deliver an entertaining set at The Key Club Stage.

With their last year’s debut album Double Dare, which by the way sounds super fucking cool as vocalist has once said, and having just rounded off their extensive tour with All Time Low, Waterparks made their big return to Slam Dunk Festival sites.

Blending youthful honesty and startling maturity of the lyrics, captured within arena-size tracks, Waterparks clearly are hard to go unnoticed. Not to mention their unmissable charm and contagious energy. I mean, how many bands can say they made security guys swing and rise their hands to start a massive wave amongst the crowd? Oh and frontman Awsten Knight even performed blindfolded. How cool is that? With that extra factor all their effort generates a unique dynamism and translates utterly into the live format.

The good thing is we won’t have to wait too long for their return as the trio announced UK dates in September. Don’t miss them this time around. As for now, check out our full photo gallery below.
