Reading trio confirms details of their sophomore EP, Shadows Of You, out in September.

Echoic have announced the self-release of their new EP, Shadows Of You, a follow-up to their 2014’s debut Testify.

Having balanced rock elements and poppy vibes, enriched by electronic influences so perfectly, Echoic create an ambitious take on modern genre blend. With Next To You as a graceful introduction to their sound transformation, the band delivers another reason why they should appear on everyone’s ‘ones to watch’ list. Turner’s broad vocals will clearly blow you away, presenting their towering range aligned with a dark melodic tinge. The accompanying visuals give away the exact same ambience, forcing you to  dive into their world, even if it’s just for one song.

Vocalist Connor Turner says of the new single:

‘Next To You’ is about becoming somewhat obsessed or attached to someone but feeling concerned about their intentions, it’s a fairly relatable scenario. We felt this track was fairly anthemic and catchy, and a great start to show off our new sound.

Shadows Of You is set for release on September 8th.
