The Sheffield outfit to release debut album, Live For The Moment, in August.

The Sherlocks have released a new single Live For The Moment off of their upcoming album of the same name.

Live For The Moment is perfectly made for single success. The lyrics are relatable and catchy and the chorus arcs and swoops throughout Kiaran Crook’s lead vocal delivery. The drums are energized and it is amazingly produced with none of the pieces disrupting the balance of the melody.

You can definitely hear why the band has been compared to The Clash and Arctic Monkeys, but this song is unique and all their own. It offers an excellent introduction to new listeners and satisfies the needs of the more devoted fan.

In addition to their own sold out UK tour and a slew of festival dates, The Sherlocks have opened for Kings of Leon and Richard Ashcroft. After gaining fans and recognition as a live powerhouse, the four-piece has answered their listeners’ demand for a full-length release:

Live For The Moment is set for release on August 18th via Infectious Records.

The Sherlocks will make appearances at Reading & Leeds Festival on August 25th-27th before heading out on their UK headline tour in September.
