FRANK CARTER & THE RATTLESNAKES // LEEDS FESTIVAL 2017

The raucous collective storm through their R&L set.

Well known for their rowdy behaviour and thrilling live shows, Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes graced the NME / BBC Radio 1 Stage on Day Three of Leeds Festival.

With a release of their sophomore full-length Modern Ruin, earlier this year, the band cleverly delivered a wild set, filled with punchy in-your-face antagonistic punk and truly brutal honesty that goes straight down your spine. The boisterous live shows are one of the main factors that define the band’s presence, no wonder they get a bit out of hand so often. This time was no different as frontman bravely stagedived, at the beginning of the set let’s add, just to be devoured by the eager crowd, only followed by the biggest mosh circle I’ve ever seen, which went all around the massive tent. If that’s anything to go by, the organisers should consider placing them on much bigger stage next time.

We headed down to experience some of Frank’s madness so check out our photos below.
