NORTHLANE Reveal Video for ‘Colourwave’
The band to embark on UK & EU “Mesmer World Tour” in November.

Northlane have released visually capturing clip for the track Colourwave, lifted from their new album Mesmer, released earlier this year.
Thematically, Colourwave delves into guitarist Josh Smith’s battle with depression and the darkness his mind created in a world that drips in colour. A therapeutic song for Smith to pen, Northlane worked with their longtime collaborator Jason Eshraghian to bring Colourwave to life.
Josh Smith says of the track:
‘Colourwave’ has been one of the fan favourite tracks on ‘Mesmer’ so we felt compelled to shoot a video for it. Our main goal here was to create the most visually stunning clip to date. While the crazy UV paint scenes were the centerpiece here, it had to also tie into the lyrics thematically at the same time. The song is about suffering through mental illness and realising that the negative glass through which you see the world is within your own mind.
