Bassist Nick O’Malley spills the beans, revealing that new album is in the making.

Arctic Monkeys, arguably Britain’s greatest indie rockers, have, since their eminent fifth album, AM (2013), held a low profile.

Frontman Alex Turner even cared the fans back in June last year, stating that there was “no rush” with a follow up. Now, however, it seems to be something in the making for the Sheffield quartet with O’Malley confirming in an interview with a biker magazine that the four are in fact back in the studio and set for a 2018 release. “If it isn’t, then we’ve got problems” he states.
