THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS Share Documentary Clip for ‘Walk On Water’
The American trio is set to embark on an extensive arena tour in Spring 2018.
Thirty Seconds To Mars have unveiled gripping and reflective visuals for their latest single, Walk On Water, first taste of their highly anticipated fifth studio album.
Delving into themes of American Dream, human equality and diversity, 30STM deliver another thought-provoking and challenging piece of art. The Walk On Water video depicts a day in the life of America, July 4th, portraying the significance of love, pride, faith, liberty alongside victory, survival, escape and pain, and all in between.
30STM yet again blend brutal honesty with musical joy, taking visual artistry to next level and proving their comeback was worth waiting for.
Thirty Seconds To Mars explain:
Everything you are about to see happened on a single day in the United States of America. July 4th, 2017.
Over 10,000 people submitted footage of a single day including 92 of our professional crews. They filmed across the country in all fifty states plus Puerto Rico and D.C. and captured a portrait of this country that is absolutely beautiful, challenging and unforgettable.
A very small selection of that footage you see here. The rest will be part of the documentary film, A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AMERICA (directed by Jared Leto), that is a companion piece to our brand new album.
The album. The film. The tour.
Thirty Seconds To Mars.
Singer Jared Leto adds:
‘Walk On Water’ is a song for all of us. It’s a song about freedom, about persistence, about change and about fighting for what you believe in. It is a call to arms but also full of the optimism and hope that is such an integral part of the American Dream.
