BLOOM TWINS Share New Video for ‘Talk To Me’

London-based sisters Bloom Twins have given us a new clip for their latest powerful track Talk To Me.

Talk To Me is an ambitious broody electro-pop track with even more pronounced visuals.

Having teamed up with mental health charities SANE, Samaritans, and Crisis Text Line, the sisters have created a hashtag #TalkToMe to break through the barriers of the mental health judgement in this clip.

Filmed in Japan and inspired by surroundings of the historic place, the video jumps and moves swiftly through each scene. The tension builds as the song progresses and the visuals get more intense and direct as the creators intended.

Talking on the issues raised, Bloom Twins say:

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people in the UK and less than 30% of mental health research is focused on young people, despite 75% of mental illness starting before the age of 18. More than half of young people link mental illness with alienation and isolation. Why are we so scared to talk about it? When and why did this become taboo? It’s ok not to be ok. Music holds a special place for many, listening to our favorite songs provides an escape and allows us to make sense of feelings that often aren’t articulated in daily conversations. Music has a power to change the conversation on mental health.
