ELDER BROTHER Announce New Album ‘Stay Inside’

Indie-rock duo Elder Brother are set to release brand new record, Stay Inside, this May.

Elder Brother have confirmed details of their forthcoming new full-length, Stay Inside, set for release on May 18th.

To coincide with the album announcement, the band have shared black & white clip for brand new track, Sway, which follows their previous single, No Reason. And once again, it is a poignant and complex tale of human existence, wrapped up in a fantastic melodic harmony.

Focusing on a central theme of drug addiction that has personal meaning to the band, Stay Inside is a reflective and intense portrayal of their past experiences.

Dan Rose says of the new album:

Most of lyrical content ‘Stay Inside’ was written on a visit back home for the holidays to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where my parents still live and where I grew up, and where the opioid crisis has a particularly strong hold.  There’s even an HBO documentary about it.  Heroin use touches everyone in the area.  Whether it’s a first hand experience, or it’s your friend, a family member, a girlfriend or boyfriend, a parent, a child, it’s rare to meet someone that doesn’t have their own story.  And despite all of that, addiction is still stigmatized.

Stay Inside is due out on the 18th May via Pure Noise Records.
