THE PALE WHITE Release Melodic New Track ‘Medicine’
The Pale White, a three-piece from Newcastle, have released their newest single Medicine today via Illegal Cinema and in collaboration with Jolyon Thomas.
Having rapidly gained success both within and outside of the UK, rock band The Pale White have a promising 2019 ahead of them. Having just released their newest single Medicine, the guys are about to embark on a UK tour that will last through February and the first week of March. They have been compared to Queens Of The Stone Age before, and this is certainly not out of place. Their seductive, melodic guitar work draws quick comparisons and only gets strengthened by Adam Hope’s vocals.
The song opens with the rattling of a medicine bottle, immediately setting the tone for the song. The lyrics are melancholic, or as Hope puts it:
‘Medicine’ is about the mundane greyness you feel when you get stuck in a rut and caught in an endless haze while searching for your own personal remedy.
Despite the subject of the song, the lyrics don’t weight the song down like they potentially could. Medicine is an easy listen, in a good way.
