For a fourth time, Download has released a list of new names for the June edition, adding to a long list of legendary artists including Def Leppard, Slipknot, Tool, Slash and Slayer.  

2019 is the year of the supergroup for Download. Not only will Deadland Ritual and Me First And The Gimme Gimmes be playing, but so will Alex Gaskarth’s and Mark Hoppus’ band Simple Creatures. They will be headlining the Avalanche stage as a festival exclusive on Saturday night with their own style of trash-pop.

Trash-pop is not the only genre present in the most recent announcement. Pop-punk is represented heavily through The Wonder Years, Roam, Queen Zee and Hot Milk, whereas music of the metal variety will be brought by Kvelertak, Graveyard and Lost Society. Other noteworthy names are Dinosaur Pile-up, Allusinlove, Nova Twins and The Picturebooks.

Download Festival will be held June 14th till 16th in Donington Park, UK.
