The hardcore punk band has released a limited edition 7″ EP Mistakes Like Fractures via Pure Noise Records, which sold out in hours.

Three years after their debut album Laugh Tracks, Knocked Loose are back with their newest release, Mistakes Like Fractures. Besides the title track, they have also graced us with Slings and Arrows and All My Friends, of which the physical versions are only available on the 7” EP released. It’s safe to say that this EP goes hard, and it’s almost a shame only one of them got a music video release.

The video for Mistakes Like Fractures shows a man in a perfectly white room who slowly but suddenly finds himself and his room covered in blue paint. It gets worse as he loses control and lies down defeated. The lyrics cry out “Mistakes like fractures, buried underneath the weight of sin.” As vocalist Bryan Garris explains:

Mistakes Like Fractures is about not being able to let go, something we think a lot of people can relate to.

And given how fast the EP sold out, it’s apparent that people can relate. Knocked Loose will be playing the UK in May, headlining O2 Islington Academy on the 24th and playing Slam Dunk on the 25th and 26th.
