BEARTOOTH Release B-Sides Singles ‘Takeover’ & ‘Messed Up’
The hardcore punk band have digitally released two b-sides that didn’t make it onto their 2018 album Disease.
Since touring Europe and the UK with Architects at the beginning of his year, in support of their full length album Disease, Beartooth have been busy winning hearts and gearing up for a big summer. Now the band has added to their 12-track album by digitally sharing an additional two songs on their b-sides release, previously released on vinyl exclusively for Record Store Day.
The tracks are called Takeover and Messed Up, and they seem to build onto the theme of the album. Disease was a look inward, chronicling frontman Caleb Shomo’s battle with his personal demons in the form of depression. Both tracks reflect on this theme, channelling self-hate and anger, but with surprisingly upbeat instrumentals.
Beartooth are currently on a headlining tour in the US, supported by Of Mice and Men and Hands Like Houses. They are gearing up for a massive festival season, including Download Festival, Rock Am Ring and Jera on Air.
