Live: FEET // 26 Leake Street, Waterloo
Feet’s own record label, Clapped Records, presented Clapped Night Out – a night of live music, late night DJs, and performance art at the new 26 Leake Street in Waterloo.
In anticipation of their debut album, What’s Inside Is More Than Just Ham, due on the 4th of October this year, the five-piece played a live set alongside Circe, Hummah, and headliner The Rhythm Method. Anyone who knows anything about a Feet show knows how unhinged they get, and they gave us nothing less than that.
Perhaps the most appropriate song for the climatic monstrosity that Britain experienced this week, English Weather had us wishing we were by the coast, while Petty Thieving elicited a mosh pit that surprisingly, destroyed no part of the small venue. The set also featured their latest single, Outer Rim, as well as Ad Blue.
In what was the first of hopefully many to come, Feet’s Clapped Night Out undoubtedly brought us an unforgettable night, which we’ll be reminiscing about until we see them again.
