BURY TOMORROW Release New Single and Video ‘The Grey (VIXI)’
The metalcore giants are back with more spine-crushing riffs ahead of their headline tour.
Following on from their blistering record Black Flame from last year, South-Coast metallers Bury Tomorrow have proved that their fire has yet to burn out as they share their scalding new single The Grey (VIXI).
Crushing riffs couple with spine-tingling melodies in the shattering chorus to create an unyielding tension that plays throughout the track and keeps you hooked on the end of every note. Every hard-hitting emotion delivers its impact through Dani Winter-Bates’ full-bodied vocals, layering on the depth created by the intricate instrumentals. Conquering troubling thoughts and doubts, the track doesn’t shy away from the more difficult times that we face but instead takes it into stride and embraces it in its candid lyricism, providing a strength and solidarity for listeners to carry on.
Speaking about the track, Dani reveals:
‘The Grey (VIXI)’ is one of the darkest songs we have ever written. It’s about being on the precipice of an abyss knowing you are eventually going to jump off. VIXI is Latin for ‘I have lived’. I wanted to open up a piece of my mind to the world hopefully to start a positive dialogue about troubling times.
