MOLLY PAYTON Shares Video for ‘1972’
The New Zealand 18 year old artist Molly Payton is gearing up to release her debut EP, Mess, this Spring.
Following her debut single, No One Else, released at the end of January this year, Molly Payton has treated us to yet another mesmerising offering, 1972. The new track brings Molly’s angelic vocals and mournful laments to the surface while a leisurely melody twinkles in the background.
Speaking of the song, Molly explains:
1972 is partly about realizing a relationship isn’t as good as you thought it was, and alongside that the frustration that shows up when you can’t move on from someone who’s moved on from you.
Both tracks will be featured on her upcoming debut EP, Mess, out on April 23rd. The new project illuminates the difficulties of ending a relationship and learning how to turn to yourself in the midst of it all.
