SILVERSTEIN Share Video for ‘Madness’ feat. Princess Nokia

A mess of shifting shapes in saturated colours distorted by static and timecode can only mean one thing: Madness!

Silverstein 2020

Heavy drums and aggressive guitar riffs challenged the status quo, but now they receive reinforcements in the shape of symbolically twisted visuals that make it crystal clear what Madness looks like for Silverstein and Princess Nokia. Symbolically crossed out eyes, increasingly more distorted shapes and an increasingly brighter colour pallet similar to the one in the album’s cover were only a few of the elements chosen to reflect the song’s take on love turned to bitter-sweet addiction to old habits and inability to break away, despite better judgement.

Madness is taken from the band’s latest album, A Beautiful Place To Drown, released last month.
