JOHNNY LLOYD Explores Mexico in New Video for ‘Running Wild’

New Eden EP is out now.

Johnny Lloyd unveils new clip for Running Wild, the lead track from his Eden EP, released last week.

Directed by Toby Ross-Southall, the video is a celebration of Mexico city, a love letter to its people and places. Capturing the essence of freedom the track itself is a praise for diversity, makes it easier to mirror the distinctive ambients of the region and the unique spirit of its community.

Johnny Lloyd explains:

‘Running Wild’ was written in reaction to the live shows – for me the songs about being free and trying to find a place in the world. We wanted to explore Mexico as a city and a place to reflect the track. We felt that Mexico had a lot to offer in terms of light, spirit and energy, and we wanted to celebrate the characters which make up this unique place. We wanted to capture the atmosphere of Mexico first hand.

Eden was produced by The Maccabees’ Hugo White and Mike Crossey (The 1975) and recorded between Los Angeles and The Maccabees’ Elephant and Castle studios. The EP is available now via Xtra Mile Recordings .
