The Irish indie outfit, The Academic just released the visuals for Bear Claws, the first single of their forthcoming debut album.

Though the dire name associations, The Academic are more exciting that you’d think. With their bouncy guitar-driven melodies, slightly cheesy lyrics and tangible enthusiasm, they certainly possess that boyish charm.

The video for Bear Claws is not anything outstanding, but a live-setup inside a checked cube. Spinning and zooming effects still create enough visual variation, yet the tune is certainly the centre for these guys.
