PIERCE THE VEIL Dress up for New ‘Floral & Fading’ Video

The band goes all retro style in new clip.

San Diego outfit has unveiled new video for Floral & Fading, and frankly it’s exactly what we needed on this gloomy day.

Floral & Fading, taken from the band’s latest album Misadventures, is a solid punk rock tune that sparks with emotions and the energy. With its melodic chorus and straightforward lyrics the track arrives as a passionate offering that distinctly surfaces out of the wall of noise we hear these days. Plus the video of course. Pierce The Veil like to entertain their fans and this time is no different.

Floral & Fading is also a love song, a tool used by frontman Vic Fuentes to confront all the past internet hate. We hear “Just wanna be alone and watch as you all just disappear” and he explains:

We weren’t really sure what kind of song we were making when we recorded ‘Floral & Fading’. It was sort of a studio experiment that ended up being one of my favorites on the album. It’s a love song to my girl about ignoring all the internet hate we got when we first started dating and focusing on each other instead.

Floral & Fading is taken from PTV‘s fourth studio album Misadventures which debuted at No. 4 in the Billboard Top 200 last year with 54,000 copies sold in the U.S. in its first week.

Pierce The Veil are about to embark on REST IN SPACE TOUR later this month, which unfortunately involves only North America cities. But not to worry, the band will be back in Europe to play a few festivals this summer season. Hopefully, we’ll hear more from them soon.

As for now, watch the video!
