SPEELBURG Unveils New Single ‘Pulse Of A Million’

Musician introduces his alter ego in the latest horror-esque music video.

Alright, this is weird but a good kind of weird.

Brighton-based producer and songwriter Speelburg, aka Noah Sacré, has released brand new track, Pulse Of A Million.

Accompanied by a must watch video, new offering deals with a battle and acceptance of your alter ego. Sounds a bit serious I know, but the track is filled with upbeat vibes, and when towering vocals jump in you’re already in a swaying mood. Pulse Of A Million is another confident tune that showcases artist’s well-crafted production skills, proving once more that he’s to keep an eye on.

Speelburg says of the track:

Musically speaking, ‘Pulse Of A Million’ is very reminiscent of the Clinton years, but just short enough for radio, which is cool.

A lot of people these days give thanks and praise to the Universe because they don’t want to commit to a deity, or accept a lack thereof. Choosing a side, or even options altogether, is the crutch of the modern twenty-something.

‘Pulse Of A Million’ is a song about my supposed alter-ego, who claims to be the aforementioned all-powerful Universe-god, and is here to fuck shit up, but bring everyone closer together in doing so. It’s kinda like the musical version of that death trip scene at the end of Brainstorm where Christopher Walken sees all the angels in space flying towards the light.

The visuals that go alongside the song are not a common thing. The music video, in a bizarre way of course, explains the idea of dying and being reborn, therefore experiencing deja vu and all that. Let’s drop some horror-worthy scenes into the mix and the result is astonishing. And creepy. Nevertheless, the creative effort pays off. It does capture your attention after all.

More on the clip from the man himself:

When they asked me what I wanted to do for the video, I took a minute to think about it…and then I got distracted and read this tweet by a dude who got super baked:

“What if when we die the light at the end of the tunnel is the light to another hospital room, there we are born and the only reason you come out crying is because you remember everything from your past life and you’re crying at the fact that you died and lost everything, as you grow you start to forget your past life and focus on the life you have now, but patches of memory stay behind and that memory causes deja vu.”

Now, I’m not saying that I was gonna make the music video-version of a stoner’s tweet, but you know…could be cool, right?

The result is a low-budget sci-fi / horror short movie that looks like a cross between a Gregory Crewdson picture come to life and It Follows.

Because the song deals with this battle and acceptance of your alter-ego, I knew I wanted there to be a few different versions of me.

Also, I knew my girlfriend had to give birth to me at the climax of the song, because really, the main thing I wanted was for this video to look super weird and gross.

Watch it below! Remember, you’ve been warned.

Speelburg will play his first live show of 2017 as support to Fenech-Soler at Patterns in Brighton on 24th February, followed by a headline London show, which will be announced next week.
