Sundara Karma reveal the new track “Vivienne”

The band that keeps coming back to me again and again insisting on not being forgotten. Well, very good. I can do that. No problem at all. Easy peasy.

Sundara Karma cont

Sundara Karma has appeared on my playlist a long time ago and I’m not planning on deleting them any time soon. Like never. Nope. Specifically not after hearing this new track Vivienne. The song, kept in a familiar indie-pop vibes blended with very distinguishing vocals and guitar riffs, is simply contagious. Goes straight to your brain and heart and infects every cell of your body.

Talking about hearts, I love love songs. But not the obvious and boring ones. I like when lyrics shout the way out of the melody. Oscar Lulu, the frontman of this Reading formed group, made a comment on that matter stating:

It’s a love song sure, but more to do with the escapism that love can offer than love itself. The world is pretty fucked, not that this is a revelation, nor am I saying anything new. I’m just singing about a type of love that blocks out all the noise.

This autumn the band is about to tour with The Wombats and Circa Waves with a couple of shows of their own added so there’s plenty opportunities to catch them live. Do it! They’re outstanding on stage.

Vivienne will appear on the new EP II which is due for release on November 6.

By the way, Vivienne  is a very beautiful name. Stream the song below.
