THE 1975 have shared new music video for the track A Change of Heart.

I am not the kind of person who is afraid of the clowns. The opposite, actually. I think I might have always liked them. Sort of. I even considered them funny back in the day. Not like scary-funny, you know. And I’m quite content right now after seeing this clip.

Taken from the sophomore I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It the ballad A Change of Heart has one of those lyrics you can’t simply forget. One of the most brilliant lyrics ever, in my opinion. And she said, “I’ve been so worried ’bout you lately” “You look shit and smell a bit” and You used to have a face straight out of a magazine Now you just look like anyone or like

Then she said, “I’ve been so worried ’bout you lately
You were fit but you’re losing it
You played a part, this is how it starts”
Oh I just had a change of heart

And there’s more obviously. No one writes like that.

The clip sees two circus clowns, with a male role being played by The 1975‘s very own Matty Healy, romantically fooling around at the deserted carnival. It also involves some of the Charlie Chaplin’s dance moves with a little bit of Michael Jackson’s moonwalk touch just to keep it varied. A real beauty.

One thing I’m pretty sure of is that there will be no change of heart when it comes to these guys.
