The indie rock quartet unveils new cut, When The Lights Are Going Out, to be taken from their debut album out later next year.
The Liverpool’s newcomers formed earlier this year and in this short period of time they surely haven’t been wasting any time. The band’s distinct sound and unmistakable energy of their sets utterly translate into dynamic live experiences, the ones that resulted in touring with Iggy Pop and landing a slot on the Liverpool Sound City Music Festival’s line-up.
What’s more, the four-piece has teamed up with the producer Al Groves (Bring Me The Horizon) to master their next track.
New offering, When The Lights Are Going Out, is simply in-your-face rock & roll. Classic hard-hitting guitars, vigorous drums and groovy bass lines perfectly underline the youthful enraged spirit. Alongside the straightforward and on-point lyrics delivered by Hamilton-Hughes‘ the confident vocals in Little Triggers come out as a somewhat fresh voice of the good old days.
The band says of the track:
The inspiration for “When The Lights Are Going Out” is that depressing situation we’ve all found ourselves in, of being out in town at the end of the night. The song is a howl of rage into the dark about the prospect of going home alone while the object of your desire is pulling someone else.
