Cornwall-via-London four-piece serves a big dose of endless summer in their latest offering, Dreamer.

The story as many others before really, the eternal uncertainty of leaving everything behind to pursue one’s dreams.

Dreamer, the lead single taken from ENNOR‘s debut EP, Polaroids, is a masterfully shaped folk track with a rock twist. Bathed in the sunshine notes flow on carefully but restlessly pulled guitar strings emphasising that moment in life when you decide to follow your heart.

Life on the road and the longing for the Cornish sea are energetically hailing from up-tempo rhythms of infectious drums and bass lines letting Tom Elliot‘s distinctive vocals to simply tell the story.

“I am a dreamer, aren’t we all?”

The song explores issues of self-doubt that can creep into your life, especially in your early 20’s, when you want to follow your heart but don’t quite trust yourself to do so. “Dreamer” is about diving head first into that sea of uncertainty and letting the waves roll over you in order to find the shoreline you seek. It only felt natural for all of us then that “Dreamer” should be our debut single.

Beautiful visuals give away a vivid and meticulous image of the message hidden in the song. The accompanying video was directed by Ollie Pestell and you can watch it below.
