Asylums unveil brand new video for banger Alternative Occupations.

Only months since their debut album, Killer Brain Waves, was released, Asylums share their brand new single, Alternative Occupations.

The Southend outfit also premiered a work-themed video to accompany the tune. The video features the band working, and playing, in a factory. Dressed in work attire whilst rocking out they definitely show off the difference between the boredom of work and their passionate live presence.

Not only illustrating the frustration of dull working life, Asylums also lash out against authorities in the clip. Here personified by an angry stereotypical tie-wearing manager-type who does not seem amused by the rock out.

Though even managers have to surrender to the liberating power of Asylums as the video rounds off with an absolute sense of anarchy.

Alternative Occupations EP is available now on a limited edition white 12 inch vinyl via Cool Thing Record.

Alongside the title track land the band’s label mates; Petty Phase‘s You’ll Be Dead, The Horse Heads’ Castles and Bait’s I’m Still Here.

Asylums are set to play London’s Tooting Tram & Social on December 12th.
