The Swedish duo unveils new single from their upcoming album Blood Jungle.

Hands is a guitar-based indie tune with a political agenda.

Singer and guitarist John Engelbert has a take on police brutality from both the victim’s and the predator’s perspective. Though the melody can be a bit monotone, the lyrical story saves the song from falling completely flat. The tangled guitar and Oscar Bonde’s percussion synchronise with Engelbert’s story-telling vocals. The tune is not tremendous in any way, but a safe release from an album that hopefully have more to give.

The duo’s fith studio album, Blood Jungle, is set to be released February 17th via Polydor.

They will also play their second headline London show on February 15th at Oslo in Hackney, following a successful sold out show back in November.
