WATERPARKS Go All ‘Royal’ Style in New Video
Pop punk rockers take on the subject of mental condition in their new clip.
PARXBO!Z return with vivid visuals for the track Royal taken from their debut album, Double Dare, released in November last year.
Houston trio’s new video is quite a mood changer comparing to their entertaining previous tune Stupid For You. More in depth and emotionally charged with an angry spirit, the song will sweep you off your feet with its anthemic hooks and startling honesty of the lyrics. Once more, it is loud and heavy, and it is authentic because they mean it.
“Honest songs are always best”, frontman Awsten Knight said when explaining Double Dare:
It’s just more. We wanted to push the boundaries to show people that you can be more than one thing. This isn’t just a “pop-punk” band and I think when people hear the rest of the album, it’ll be pretty apparent. There are songs that have elements of jazz, hip-hip, pop, indie, electronic, punk, etc. As far as the lyrics go, they’re more personal than they’ve been on any other Waterparks release. I was probably more open than I should be with some stuff but it’s fine. Honest songs are always best. It’s also got me at my happiest, so that’s a thing too.
As for the video Waterparks sent a message to their fans:
