The band to release first album in five years.

Last Kiss is the second single taken from Minus The Bear‘s sixth album VOIDS due out next month.

Singer Jake Snider’s vocals have this ability to cover me with a summer haze with every track. Even with this song which is a little bit darker and emotive lyrically. Musically it delivers up beat arrangements, which I enjoy the contrast created here.

It’s easy to go heavy when you speak about something darker. It shows artist’s creativity when they don’t. Last Kiss speaks about the ending of relationship in a detached way, in the fact that doesn’t get too specific. It’s more a reflection of a relationship delivered with catchy riffs and rhythmic drum arrangements, which come effortlessly to Minus The Bear.

Not long now until we get the full collection of songs they have for us. They will be going on an extensive US and Canada tour and hopefully head our way in the not so distant future.

New record VOIDS is set for release on March 3rd via Suicide Squeeze Records.
