The San Francisco collective releases a deep rooted ode to post-breakup feels.

The tingling guitar base and optimistic outlook is induced with a tint of nostalgia. Mind Fields is, as the title suggests, dazed in melancholia, an introvert reflection of a Mind Field. The dreamy indie pop and the soaring allure of the tune’s soft turns and quirks gives No Vacation a firm ground to stand on. With a tune like this, the potential for where this gang can go is endless.

The band told FADER that the track is “an ode to breakups inspired and written during No Vacation’s year-long hiatus. It has a tinge of nostalgia, but at the same time, an air of hopefulness for the future.”

Mind Fields is out now via Topshelf Records, and is the first single of No Vacation’s collection that is due for release in June.
