Cezinando hopes you have space for him.

The prince of Norwegian hip hop, Cezinando has been riding a wave this past year. After his triumph in a Norwegian radio competition with his track €PA the 22 year-old was quick in releasing an incredibly strong debut, Barn av Europa (Children Of Europe). Cezinando also received a Norwegian Grammy in the text writer category for his effort on the album.

Now the artist is back with his most mature and capturing single to date. Håper Du Har Plass is an emotive and enigmatic hiphop tune fuelled on by the soaring and slightly shifting soundscape. The language barrier might make the track feel slightly daunting. Yet the immensely detailed structure of the track is still universally translatable through the linguistic and intonation of the lyricism and melody. With his unique flare for combining vocals and sorely harmonies within his melodies, Cezinando is onto something truly special.

The process has been a journey and a great experience for me. I’ve never put as much time into a piece as this one. Ole Torjus from Rytmeklubben played me Hastas original sketch in the studio one day and I wrote the lyrics in this session. We knew we wanted strings and piano on the song. Thank god for Einar Stray and Andre Viervoll. And Bow To Each Other for the amazing choir-arrangements.
