Staying ‘Indoors’ with THE FLATLINERS
Toronto Canada’s four-piece unveils new single, Indoors, taken from their sixth studio album to be released in April.

It’s been 12 years since The Flatliners released their debut album, Destroy To Create, and now they return with the long-player #6, Inviting Light, and we’re beyond excited.
New record is just around the corner, but The Flatliners decided to unveil another thrilling cut to keep us occupied. Indoors is a guitar perfection with invigorated upbeat rhythm and melodic vocal layers. If you don’t sway to that drum beat, then you should probably listen to the track again, and again.
Now approaching 15 years of the band’s existence, with the original lineup since the very beginning, The Flatliners are about to release their sixth studio album. Trying to refine their sound but staying true to their roots, new record sets surely a challenging moment. But it’s also the one the fans are eagerly waiting for.
Frontman and guitarist Chris Cresswell explains:
‘Inviting Light’ is about trying to keep up with life around you but also wading through the potential bullshit of people thinking that a digital landscape is more important than their friends. It’s inevitable that you’re fighting for people’s attention now, whether you’re a band or an individual, and there’s not as much value placed on face-to-face human interaction as there is in elevating the profile.
It feels like we’re onto something. It’s exciting for a band to be 15 years into their existence and have this. It’s a refreshing thing.
Inviting Light is set for release on April 7th via Rise Records.
