DANTEVILLES Reveal Video for ‘Graffiti’
Manchester indie four-piece, Dantevilles unveil brand new video for single Graffiti.

The upbeat tune features echoing vocals over a funky track of tingling guitars and a firm beat. The swaying vocal harmonies counterpoint the hammering beat in Graffiti, making the soundscape fuller and more diverse than your regular indie tune. That being said the melody still falls short at time, hitting stagnated points in the structure, and falling for blander safe options. The band states escapism as a central theme yet that doesn’t initially come across.
The video fluctuate between clips of the band playing in a blank space and graffiti – obviously. Though there isn’t really any sense of narrative in the mix, the colourful graffiti and the bouncy tune is a fun, and a tad easy, combination.
Discussing the release, the quartet stated:
‘Graffiti’ is all about escapism. The actual art form of graffiti is about expression with the ability to stay discrete. It’s something completely original, individual and non-conformist. It can be whatever the listeners want to draw relations to. Be that love, lust or travel. The song is about standing out above everyone else.
Graffiti is now available via Heist or Hit.
