LANY Say ‘It Was Love’ in Their New Single
The band unveils second cut from their forthcoming debut album.
The Nashville-via-NYC-via-LA trio shares new track, It Was Love, taken from their self-titled debut full-length, out in June this year.
Following more blissful and danceable Good Girls, new single fully captures with the sadness disguised as the sun-drenched melodies. It Was Love gleams with emotive reflective lyricism and sparkly synths as the guitar-laid bridge builds up to an illustrious crescendo. Of course, it’s a love song. It wouldn’t be a LANY tune if it wasn’t tinged with a spark of everlong heartbreak.
LANY by LANY is set for release on June 30th via Polydor Records.
LANY are currently opening for John Mayer at some of his April dates before embarking on their own headline tour.
