The Leeds trio’s most recent offering, One By One is a drifty track, swooning on distant vocals and thriving guitar. 

The tune intertwines elements of psychedelia with a deeper darker rock atmosphere at the core. Frontman, Harrison Warke’s vocals draw on a more old-fashioned approach, lingering slightly out of reach. The emotion of the tune most clearly comes through in the deep swings of the bass line, showing a vulnerable sense of isolation.

Warke explains:

‘One by One’ is about depression and the culture of silence around it. We wanted to elaborate musically on the first couple of singles, it’s the first tune we’ve recorded in a proper studio and that gave us freedom to experiment and flesh out the arrangement a bit more.
