Don’t Delete The Kisses is the second cut lifted from the band’s sophomore Visions Of A Life, out in September.

Well, that’s clearly a mood changer. Following their deliriously enraged previous offering, Yuk Foo, Wolf Alice cool it down now with an otherworldly new track, Don’t Delete The Kisses.

Radiating synth-pop influences, Don’t Delete The Kisses shines with variety of its entire soundscape. From a sing-speak vocal play, masterfully guided by Ellie Rowsell, to spine-tingling guitar layers, to that unpredictable twist they tend to drop in when you least expect it, the tune shapes luscious and abundant ambience.

Truly remarkable and highly ambitious, Don’t Delete The Kisses sets a bar even higher for My Love Is Cool‘s follow-up. We’re still a few months away from their eagerly-awaited second album, Visions Of A Life, but Wolf Alice have already managed to surprise us the big time.

Instead I’m typing you a message that I know I’ll never send / Rewriting old excuses, delete the kisses at the end.
